The Committee for European Construction Equipment (CECE) claims that too much equipment used in the building and public works sector are not compliant with EU rules, “more than one year after Regulation 765/2008/EC came into force”. “On the one hand, politicians and legislators continuously draft new severe rules for safety and health requirements, and on the other nobody seems to care whether machines sold in the EU really comply with these rules.
